Finding the perfect finishing touch that’s familiar and comforting and says YOU is essential – but with hundreds of new fragrances to choose from, how do you find the scent that suits you best? Tracey shares her three top tips.

1 Firstly, why limit yourself to one signature scent? Like fashion, perfumes can be changed on a daily basis to suit your mood, the occasion, and the new season. Build a bouquet of fragrances that feel best for you.

2 Spritz a new fragrance on your skin where it’s warm. The heat helps to magnify the aroma. Pulse points, wrists and earlobes are ideal. Wait a few minutes for it to settle. If you love it, remember it. If you still love it at the end of the day, it’s yours.

3 Forget the pretty packaging, big designer and all the marketing. If you love it and wearing it immediately lifts your mood then go with it. Follow your instincts!
