St Hilda’s students discover hidden treasures

JUNIOR School students from St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls celebrated Book Week with a game of hide and seek.

Last Tuesday, Junior School students were invited to discover books that had been hidden around the grounds of the Chidley campus.

When students found the hidden books, they mapped where they found the book, read the book, wrote a book review and then hid the book for someone else to find.

As part of the week, Junior School students donated more than 350 books for the third annual St Hilda's Book Swap, where each student brings a pre-loved book and for a gold donation swaps their own book with another book.

All proceeds were donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
