PRIMARY school students from Iona Presentation College took over the Town of Mosman Park at a mock council meeting on August 12. In the annual visit, about 40 Year 2 students learnt about the town’s fair, skateboarding workshops and a Youth Advisory Council. A ranger talked about dog safety before Mayor Ron Norris led the meeting and answered questions. “It is tremendous to be able to educate these bright and inquisitive youngsters about what we do, and who knows, perhaps to inspire them to consider a future career in local government?” Mr Norris said.
