Swimmers to make a splash
LOCAL children are set to make a splash this October as Hale School opens its new aquatic centre to the community for swimming lessons.
Hale Swim School will offer lessons year-round to children aged from two to 12, encouraging a strong knowledge of swimming and water safety.
Hale Swim School manager Sara Levien said the swim school offered new technology to children and parents.
“We are a fresh new swim school educating a skill for life in the safety of small class sizes,” Ms Levien said.
“Our computer booking program tracks the participant’s level, progress and achievement, providing parents with constant feedback.”
The Hale Swim School will be holding an assessment day at the Hale Aquatic Centre on September 6.
The program, endorsed by Royal Life Saving, will begin at the start of term four, on October 13.
