Swim­mers to make a splash

LO­CAL chil­dren are set to make a splash this Oc­to­ber as Hale School opens its new aquatic cen­tre to the com­mu­nity for swim­ming les­sons.

Hale Swim School will of­fer les­sons year-round to chil­dren aged from two to 12, en­cour­ag­ing a strong knowl­edge of swim­ming and wa­ter safety.

Hale Swim School man­ager Sara Le­vien said the swim school of­fered new tech­nol­ogy to chil­dren and par­ents.

“We are a fresh new swim school ed­u­cat­ing a skill for life in the safety of small class sizes,” Ms Le­vien said.

“Our com­puter book­ing pro­gram tracks the par­tic­i­pant’s level, progress and achieve­ment, pro­vid­ing par­ents with con­stant feed­back.”

The Hale Swim School will be hold­ing an assess­ment day at the Hale Aquatic Cen­tre on Septem­ber 6.

The pro­gram, en­dorsed by Royal Life Sav­ing, will be­gin at the start of term four, on Oc­to­ber 13.
