O'Leary Walker Polish Hill River Riesling 2014

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Wine -

For decades, and until recently, Australia's greatest Rieslings have come from South Australia's Eden Valley and Clare Valley.

More recently, WA’s Great Southern and Tasmania appear to be gaining the lion's share of the accolades but, despite this trend, Australia’s finest riesling producer remains the Clare Valley’s meticulous Geoff Grosset.

Just down the road, Nick Walker and David O’Leary consistently produce some of Aus- tralia's greatest value and delicious premium Rieslings.

Terms such as fragrance, sherbet, lime, perfume, zest and steely acidity apply - along with serious quality length - and dancing, swirling crowd-pleasing and exciting aromatics. A stunner. 18.3 pts, $25.
