P&C PARENTS ARE THE REAL STARS

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Western Opinion -

CONGRATULATIONS to the Floreat Park Pre-Primary community for fundraising and getting their hands dirty to deliver a new outdoor play space for students. The pre-primary’s P & C raised the $33,000 for the project and spent weekends planting and composting to complete the Nature Play Solutions facility. Their efforts got the attention of Education Minister Peter Collier, who visited the new playground recently. “This fantastic initiative was driven by the school’s P&C Association which raised $33,000 and parents have spent the past 18 months turning their vision for a fun and stimulating outdoor space into reality,” he said. Unfortunately, the promotion of the opening shone a brighter light on the minister than it did the real stars of the show – the parents.
