POLICE say locking a flyscreen is not enough security after a Subiaco Road home was burgled overnight on September 20. “They just put a hole in it and reached in to open the unlocked wooden door behind,” Sgt Vivian said. The thieves took a backpack, prescription drugs, a passport and an iPod.
THIEVES climbed five flights of stairs to steal a $2000 solar panel at a Roydhouse Street building site overnight on September 18. Police said the thieves searched toolboxes left by builders on each floor of the apartment block. There were no reports of stolen tools.
