Trend-setters relish role
WESTFIELD Carousel was abuzz last week with Hollywood royalty Giuliana and Bill Rancic jetting into Perth for a fleeting visit as part of their roles as style ambassadors.
It was the duo’s first visit to Perth and E! News and Fashion Police presenter Giuliana Rancic’s second visit to the country after a whirlwind visit to Sydney and Melbourne earlier this year.
Visiting five cities as part of the tour, the reality television stars talked of their “most hunted” pieces for the spring-summer season, with whites and pastels featuring high on their list.
Giuliana said she was happy to be back in Australia and was enjoying sharing the experience with husband entrepreneur The Apprentice Season 1 winner Bill.
“It is an honour to be Westfield Style Ambassador for Spring/Summer 2014,” she said.
“I loved my time in Australia in April and couldn’t wait to share the experience with Bill.”
Bill said he was enjoying his role as ambassador and along with his wife was taking it seriously.
“Giuliana is loving this role, she wants everyone to refer to us as Ambassador Rancic,” he said.
The pair lapped up the crowd taking selfies, holding babies and chatting to the crowd.
They also helped present a fashion parade put together by resident stylists Mikey Walton and Ady Ourpe.
Rancic, who wore Australian designer Cue and Wittner on stage, said there was something special about Aussie designers and listed Lover the Label and Paolo Sebastian as two of her favourites.
The Rancics enjoyed lunch at Eamon Sullivan’s Bib and Tucker before boarding a flight to Adelaide.
