INTERNATIONAL tennis players took over Perth’s tourism hotspots in the lead up to the Hopman Cup last weekend.
Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard hit the South Perth foreshore in a short dress last Friday and later commented “ohhh that’s short” on Twitter after it had beamed across the world.
World number one Serena Williams was among the last players to fly in but managed to meet a koala – albeit tentatively – at Kings Park on Sunday morning.
Williams asked for a coffee during her game against Flavia Pennetta yesterday morning, blaming jetlag for her weariness.
