To be believed, drum up some money

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Western Opinion -

I HAVE long suspected that those opposing the use of drum lines against sharks are plants trying to turn opinion against the Government because drum lines have been used effectively in New South Wales and Queensland for many years without similar protests.

I will accept that these people are genuine when they set up, from their own pockets, a system of financial support for the families of those taken by sharks, given that they have prevented the Government from protecting those who enter the water. John Randall, Halls Head.
