RACHAEL Ho (16) became the talk of the Hopman Cup when she handed Serena Williams a coffee during her first singles game last week.

The ball kid was handed the coffee to pass on to Williams, who had requested an espresso after losing the first set 0- 6 against Italy’s Flavia Pennetta.

Williams went on to win the match.

“I was holding the coffee and didn’t want to drop it,” Rachael said.

“Everyone’s been talking about it on Facebook.”

Yesterday, the YouTube video had been viewed 821,544 times.

Rachael and Wembley Downs resident Mihailo Bozic (15) were among 22 of the 66 ball kids at the Hopman Cup to officiate the final.

Bozic said he was excited to watch his favourite player, American John Isner, play.

Ball Kid supervisor Paul Oldfield said it was overwhelming to watch the best 22 walk out for the final because they had worked so hard training over the past five months.

“It gives me goose bumps,” Paul said.
