WITH its bay windows, balconies and laced iron balustrades, you might wonder if this romantic home was in Southern France.
But Australia’s distinct beauty is never far away, with open bushland and giant gum trees on its doorstep.
“There is a never ending selection of bird life,” the current owners said. “The mopoke owl most nights, or kookaburras throughout the day… We can still remember our first night in the house, we were woken by the magpies warbling. It was something we had not experienced before and now we look forward to it every August.”
Built in 1983, the home has had just two owners. The current owners moved in when their children were just two and four-years old – now they are 24 and 26 and mum and dad are looking to downsize.
“The house has suited us for the young, teenage and adult years and we have always been able to have our own space,” they said.
