DURING this time of the year, many people like to indulge in alcoholic beverages. People tend to go out more as the weather is warmer, and some like to have a few drinks after work. We would like to remind people of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. It is easy for people to be carried away with drinking alcohol, even if their intention was only to have a quiet drink. If your intention is to drink alcohol, always make alternative arrangements and do not drink and drive. Most people do the right thing but unfortunately there is a minority who want to challenge the law. Be warned, police are out in force on the road and will catch those driving under the influence of alcohol. - Senior Sergeant Glen Willers
