String of charges after ute accident
A MOSMAN Park man (23) will face Perth Magistrates Court on January 29, after he allegedly drove a silver Holden Commodore ute into a Scarborough unit about 12.30am last Friday.
Police allege Regional Operations Group officers attempted to intercept the ute in Scarborough but it sped off, turned a corner, lost control and crashed through a fence and into an unoccupied unit’s patio at the corner of Filburn and Manning streets.
The man was arrested and charged with a blood alcohol level greater than 0.08, reckless driving and failing to stop. His female passenger (22) was treated for minor injuries in hospital.
