A salute to summer

PICNIC’S spring summer 2014/15 collection is a celebration of our Australian lifestyle, with the campaign photographed against the luxurious backdrop of a private Mosman Park residence.

The second collection at Picnic for Jana O’Callaghan features on trend silhouettes including variations of palazzo pants, maxi dresses and kimonos.

O’Callaghan said they had favoured relaxed understated garments made from quality fabrics.

“The collection is a culmination of styles, fabrics and colour to complement our intense Australian summer,” she said.

“Bohemian details, white on white and jungle prints weave their way on to key season pieces for simple elegance and effortless style.

“A vivid colour palette of aqua, butterscotch, citrus yellow and fuchsia sit neatly against green-based prints to provide a quintessential summer flavour.

“As always, natural fibres play a key role in the summer range with silks, cottons and linens chosen for their breathability and luxurious drape.”
