UNIVERSITY of WA Business School’s Graduate Management Association (GMA) has appointed its first Generation Y president. Squire Patton Boggs senior associate Mark Palermo holds a Master of Business Administration from UWA and will lead the Graduate Management Association for the next 12 months. At just 32, Mr Palermo is one of the youngest presidents since the alumni group was established in 1976. Outgoing GMA president Thomas Murrell praised Mr Palermo’s leadership qualities. “Mark has a great leadership skill set of corporate governance, contracts and finance, and was a great support as vice-president.”
