Man remanded in custody after spate of incidents
VINTAGE guns, jewellery and electronics worth more than $18,000 were allegedly stolen by a Karrinup man (22) from a Peasholm Street, City Beach home between December 26 and January 1.
Kensington detectives arrested the man in Burswood about 7.25pm on January 23.
It will be alleged the man was the passenger of a Proton car when he used a handgun, not from the burglary, to threaten a woman (60) driving the vehicle on Kent Street, Bentley about 5pm the previous day.
Police said the man and the woman, whose relationship was unclear, had a physical argument in the car.
The argument ended with the man driving off in the vehicle and the woman left on the verge with minor injuries that were treated at Royal Perth Hospital.
It will also be alleged the man stole a black Hyundai i35 from a business at Division Street in Welshpool about 9am on January 11, before the Hyundai was found abandoned at a hotel car park in Scarborough on January 21.
The man was charged with being armed in a way that may cause fear, burglary, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle and possessing a smoking implement.
He was remanded in custody to reappear at Perth Magistrates Court on February 18.
