MAKE-UP en­tre­pre­neur Bobbi Brown was in Australia for the first time when she was a spe­cial guest at the Busi­ness Chicks’ first event for the year at the Hy­att Re­gency Perth last week.

The 57-year-old make-up artist from New York told lo­cals they were lucky to live in such a great place be­cause ev­ery­one “here is so chilled”.

Brown, a mar­ried mother of two sons, re­vealed how she ini­tially re­sisted lip­stick be­fore be­com­ing a house­hold name with her own brand of the make-up.

Ca­reer high­lights in­clud­ing do­ing makeup for the Rolling Stones on an al­bum cover and writ­ing mul­ti­ple books, which were ei­ther hand-writ­ten or tran­scribed over the phone.

The most ex­trav­a­gant things she’s pur­chased? An ex­tended fam­ily hol­i­day to South Africa on sa­fari.

Busi­ness Chicks (35) founder Emma Isaacs also made it to Perth for her first event de­spite be­ing preg­nant with her fourth child.
