Fee-free tuition for star students
STUDENTS from Hale School, Trinity College and Perth Modern School were awarded Fogarty Foundation Scholarships to study at UWA.
They are among a group of 11 students to receive the scholarships this year.
Joshua Dunne from Hale School, who also received a School Curriculum and Standards Authority General Exhibition, will study a Bachelor of Philosophy.
Fellow Hale School student Jonathan Pang is enrolled in the Bachelor of Philosophy.
Trinity College student Brayden Keizer will study a Bachelor of Arts. Adelhia Ebert, who attended Perth Modern School, will study a Bachelor of Philosophy at UWA.
The UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships provide students a full scholarship for their entire undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
UWA Vice- Chancellor Paul Johnson congratulated them all.
“These young men and women represent our most valuable resource: intellectual capital,” Professor Johnson said.
“These students are our future and we are delighted they have chosen to study at UWA."
