will be fol­lowed by a for­mal lunch with ASQ play­ers at Cape Lodge.

The Satur­day evening event in­cludes pre-con­cert canapes and Voy­ager Es­tate wines in the es­tate grounds be­fore the con­cert in the im­pos­ing un­der­ground bar­rel hall, the largest in Australia.

The Voy­ager Es­tate restau­rant then plays host to a for­mal din­ner with the ASQ play­ers and guests min­gling with din­ers.

Guests will gather out­side Vasse Felix’s art gallery at 11.30am on Sun­day for morn­ing tea be­fore the fi­nal con­cert, which will be fol­lowed by the farewell lun­cheon in Vasse Felix’s ac­claimed restau­rant.

Voy­ager Es­tate

re­cently an­nounced a spon­sor­ship pack­age with ASQ for its wines to be pro­vided be­fore each of the Quar­tet’s three na­tional cap­i­tal city tour con­certs.

Since 2010, the es­tate has pro­duced a sig­nif­i­cant range of in­di­vid­ual vine­yard and project chardon­nays and caber­net sauvi­gnons that are the finest this prop­erty has pro­duced to date.

There are sev­eral packages at www.asq.com.au, rang­ing from a morn­ing tea and the fi­nale con­cert for $110 to the com­plete pro­gram which in­cludes cock­tail par­ties, for­mal lunches and din­ners at Cape Lodge, Voy­ager Es­tate and Vasse Felix restau­rants and all con­certs.

The Aus­tralian String Quar­tet will per­form a se­ries of four con­certs at Mar­garet River winer­ies, in­clud­ing the pic­turesque Voy­ager Es­tate.
