Still going nuts for plain vanilla

Western Suburbs Weekly - - News -

WHILE it was no surprise to Gelare Subiaco manager Bayan Fanaeian that punters favoured plain old vanilla ice-cream over more adventurous choices, his taste differs from the majority.

In January, Gelare released results from its independent survey that found vanilla ice-cream was the favourite for 19.8 per cent of more than 1200 Australians.

Chocolate came a close second with 17.8 per cent of the votes and 16.2 per cent favoured cookies and cream. But Mr Fanaeian said peanut butter cup – one of the suburban shop’s more unique flavours – was his flavour of the month.
