Putting drinking habits to sword
CHAMPAGNE should be drunk out of a flute and at between 7-9C, according to champagne expect Julien Marteau who will be in Cottesloe this week.
The Sydney-based French expert is hosting Live Life Lavish at the Cott and Co Fish Bar on Thursday night.
Mr Marteau, who was in the Barossa Valley when Matilda spoke to him last week, said there was a big market for champagne in Perth because of the high disposable incomes.
“Australians are becoming more sophisticated in their choice of drinks,” he said.
“They are discovering champagne.”
