KITE-SURFING SHOP ROBBED
KITE-surfing shop Australian Windforce in Nedlands was the target of a smash-and-grab raid about 3.30am on February 26. Police said a white Ford Falcon utility pulled up on the footpath outside the shop before a rock was thrown at a front window. The thieves used the hole in the window to open the front door and throw nearby stock, mainly kite-surfing kites and boards, into the utility’s tray. The value of the stolen stock is currently being assessed.
