Top designers come together for fundraiser
THE bi-annual fashion parade fundraiser at St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls is a collaboration between the school and acclaimed jewellery and fashion designers.
As the major fundraiser for the school this year, the Garden Rhapsody themed parade on March 12 will bring together fashion by Flannel and Sara Fox & Co and jewellery by St Hilda’s Old Scholar Keiko Uno.
Keiko Uno said staying connected to the school was so important to her that her baby was already enrolled at St Hilda’s for the 2017 school year.
Auxiliary president Natasha Taylor said she expected to raise about $6000 from the event.
“The money will go to the refurbishment of the food and textiles department,” Ms Taylor said.
“The parade is a great way to attract lots of people to the school, but it’s also low-key and fun.
“It is an Italian garden rhapsody theme so guests can expect prosecco and delicious canapés.”
