Film sea­son hard to top

BEN and Jerry’s Ope­nair Cine­mas is back with a pro­gram of sweet screen­ings at Ozone Re­serve, River­side Drive from March 19 to April 26.

Open Tues­day to Sun­day, the venue will show the lat­est new re­leases and a se­lec­tion of come­dies, drama, cult clas­sics and fam­ily favourites, with film­go­ers able to hire deckchairs, bean lounges and blan­kets.

Live mu­sic Sun­dae Ses­sions each Sun­day will present a range of up-and­com­ing artists, start­ing with the char­ity launch on March 22 fea­tur­ing Mel­bourne’s Husky, fol­lowed by a screen­ing of The The­ory of Ev­ery­thing.

“We’ve had such an in­cred­i­ble time trav­el­ling across the coun­try to cel­e­brate the launch of Ben & Jerry’s Ope­nair Cine­mas,” the trio said.

“With five cities down, we can’t wait to rock out with our fans in Perth and end this sum­mer sea­son of mu­sic and movies on a high.”
