Levon Kvas-Rothwell bagged 17 of UWA’s points with the boot, kicking a conversion and four penalties, while Nikoro slotted two conversions and three penalties for Wests.
Cottesloe dominated the opening half of the match against Palmyra in the wet and windy conditions at Tompkins Park, maintaining their lead in the second half with the wind behind them to take the victory 17-3.
While it was the home side that had the measure of the Gulls at scrum time, they were unable to break through the solid defensive effort of Cottesloe.
