Slipping Def Leppard in
BON Jovi meets Def Leppard in a show not to be missed at Metropolis Fremantle this weekend.
WA Bon Jovi tribute band Slippery When Wet has expanded their repertoire, adding a second lead singer and a brand new Def Leppard tribute set.
Band member Andrew Di Stefano said when he put the Bon Jovi tribute together in 2012 the plan was always to incorporate some Def Leppard in the future.
“All of my other friends in the band are also big fans of Def Leppard, so the transition to focus on a second concept felt very natural for all of us,” he said.
“Although pre-production and rehearsals began about the same time last year, we débuted the Hysteria show late in 2014, so this will be the second time we are performing both sets.
“The reception we received at this show was huge. It brought in a lot of Def Leppard fans, as well as further satisfy those who come to see our Bon Jovi show, as many of them are fans of both bands, which is a formula that has proven to work quite well.”
Slippery When Wet is performing at Metropolis Fremantle on April 26.
