PROTECTING VALUABLE ASSETS

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Quick News -

SUBIACO’S 3800 public trees in its parks and reserves alone are valued at more than $23 million, says Mayor Heather Henderson. The City of Subiaco recently released its Plant Pathogen Management Plan 2015-19 for strategies to protect its 15,000 street trees and 78ha of parks and reserves from disease. The plan is to protect plants from dieback, honey fungus, canker disease and sphaeropsis blight. “Protecting our natural assets is extremely important,” Mrs Henderson said.
