Cen­tre res­i­dent robbed

AN East Perth woman (40) al­legedly stole from a res­i­dent of the Quad­ri­plegic Cen­tre, Selby Street, Shen­ton Park be­tween 8am and 9.30am on June 7.

“It will be al­leged he was away from his room hav­ing break­fast, and his room was en­tered and valu­ables were taken in­clud­ing a credit card, iPhone and iPad,” Se­nior Sergeant Kate Vi­vian said.

The man’s fam­ily re­ported the theft to po­lice. Of­fi­cers used the iPad’s lo­ca­tion track­ing ap­pli­ca­tion.

A sig­nal was picked up from the iPad near the in­ter­sec­tion of Bish­ops Row and Goodrich Street, East Perth.

“Po­lice went to a car park in the area and found a woman in a Honda Ac­cord,” Sgt Vi­vian said.

It will be al­leged the iPad and other items be­long­ing to the man were with the woman in the car, which was al­legedly stolen dur­ing a bur­glary at a Ter­race Road, East Perth house on June 4.

The woman was charged with sev­eral of­fences.
