Centre resident robbed
AN East Perth woman (40) allegedly stole from a resident of the Quadriplegic Centre, Selby Street, Shenton Park between 8am and 9.30am on June 7.
“It will be alleged he was away from his room having breakfast, and his room was entered and valuables were taken including a credit card, iPhone and iPad,” Senior Sergeant Kate Vivian said.
The man’s family reported the theft to police. Officers used the iPad’s location tracking application.
A signal was picked up from the iPad near the intersection of Bishops Row and Goodrich Street, East Perth.
“Police went to a car park in the area and found a woman in a Honda Accord,” Sgt Vivian said.
It will be alleged the iPad and other items belonging to the man were with the woman in the car, which was allegedly stolen during a burglary at a Terrace Road, East Perth house on June 4.
The woman was charged with several offences.
