WAAPA stars sing their thanks

TWO of WAAPA’s golden girl grad­u­ates, Lisa McCune and Suzie Mathers, will lead an all-star cast for one-night-only gala con­cert, WAAPA Grads Say Thanks.

The evening of song will not only cel­e­brate the mu­sic theatre depart­ment’s 30th an­niver­sary but is a high­light of the Aus­tralasian Over­tures – Mu­si­cal Theatre Ed­u­ca­tor’s Al­liance Con­fer­ence, hosted by WAAPA from June 20 to 23.

It is the first time the group of in­ter­na­tional ed­u­ca­tors has met in the South­ern Hemi­sphere.

Other grad­u­ates per­form­ing at the con­cert in­clude John O’Hara, Alexander Lewis, Jen­nifer Peers, Lisa Adams and Bren­dan Han­son.

WAAPA Grads Say Thanks is at Ge­off Gibbs Theatre, WAAPA, Mt Law­ley, 7.30pm, Mon­day, June 22.
