Pole policy

Western Suburbs Weekly - - News -

ANY organisation can now use five banner poles in Mosman Park, as long as the advertising promotes the town.

At last month’s meeting, councillors changed their policy that previously may have excluded those organisations operating at a profit from using the poles.

The poles have only been used by Rocky Bay and Camelot Cinemas, leaving them vacant only in November each year.

Charities will now be charged up to $600 to put up and take down a banner, while an additional $100 weekly fee will be billed to companies which use the poles during the vacant period.
