Stones thrown

Western Suburbs Weekly - - News -

THREE youths threw rocks at a 52-year-old Shenton Park woman, hitting her and her car, when she asked about their bicycles near the Forrest Street-Railway Road intersection in Subiaco about 10.45am last Wednesday.

“She thought it was unusual that they didn’t have bike helmets,” Sen Sgt Kate Vivian said.

The woman reported that one of the youths said the bikes were from outside nearby Coles, Subiaco, before a stone was thrown through the open window of the woman’s car, hitting her on the cheek.

A stone smashed the car’s headlight as it reversed away from the youths, after the woman had taken a mobile phone picture of them.

The youths were described as aged about 1315, wearing dark hooded jumpers, dark sports shorts, some with stripes and one was riding a red bicycle, while another bike was white.
