New vi­sion for eyewear la­bel

THE Saint col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween WA-born pho­tog­ra­pher Pierre Tous­saint and AM Eyewear tran­spired out of a shared de­sire for su­pe­rior op­tics.

As a lead­ing fash­ion pho­tog­ra­pher, Tous­saint un­der­stood the need for a pre­ci­sion lens and had the idea to cre­ate a range of sun­glasses to raise money for eye re­search, hav­ing worked with the brand pre­vi­ously.

Three lim­ited edi­tion fem­i­nine shapes named af­ter the idyl­lic lo­ca­tions of St Bart, St Tropez and St Lu­cia have been cre­ated and are avail­able in mul­ti­ple colours.

With the sup­port of high-pro­file celebri­ties and mod­els in­clud­ing Natalie Im­bruglia and Jes­sica Gomes, a gen­er­ous con­tri­bu­tion of all lenses from this col­lab­o­ra­tion will be do­nated to Op­tom­e­try Giv­ing Sight, pro­vid­ing sup­port to the mil­lions of peo­ple around the world who are need­lessly blind or vi­sion-im­paired be­cause they can’t get an eye exam and cor­rec­tive eyewear.

“Our ethos is sim­ple – to de­sign beau­ti­ful, unique and ex­cep­tional eyewear that makes a dif­fer­ence,” Tous­saint said.

“With so much ef­fort go­ing into the de­sign and man­u­fac­ture of ev­ery frame, we choose to ded­i­cate ev­ery de­sign to the per­son who has inspired it.

“Our de­signs are born with a sketch pad and pen­cil, where all the as­pects are metic­u­lously brought to life.

“Our sun­glasses are spe­cially fit­ted with their high­est qual­ity Ital­ian­made lenses, en­sur­ing your eyes are pro­tected while also look­ing their best.”
