Clare­mont Quar­ter pop-up Flow­ers

FLOW­ERS and food are com­bined at the Food Amongst The Flow­ers pop-up shop at the Clare­mont Quar­ter un­til Septem­ber.

“It pro­vides a fo­rum for peo­ple to en­joy the plea­sures of lov­ingly cooked and hand­crafted food, with de­signed and pro­duce flower ar­range­ments,” Botanica Nau­ralis prin­ci­ple Anna Forbes Rohan said.

The pop-up store in The Lane op­po­site Lu­ci­oli res­tau­rant has fresh and cooked foods, flow­ers, mu­sic and lounge area with bean­bags and re­claimed fur­ni­ture.

Moroccan food is from Shak Shuka and fresh juices by Nes­tle and Crush, while Hon­ey­cakes pro­duces a mix of honey and but­ter,

Ta­pas is from Ta­pas­man, the T Sis­ters are do­ing dumplings and pork buns and a mix of Chi­nese and Asian flavours comes from Tur­ban Chop­sticks.

There are gluten-free breads from Strange Grains, cup­cakes from Baked 180, and BonPussy’s Ja­maican hot sauces.

Food Amongst the Flow­ers is open Thurs­days and Fri­days, 10am to late, and Satur­days 8am to 2pm.
