SUBI Voice of Youth (SVY) celebrates its 18th anniversary this year.

President James Dracup (23) said SVY provided a strong voice for the future of Subiaco’s community and youth perspectives on strategic planning.

“Our annual quiz night is just around the corner and it’s always a lot of fun,” Mr Dracup said.

“There’s free pizza and some awesome prizes up for grabs, with teams of five to eight competing for their chance to win in six rounds of trivia fun.”

SVY hosts free events for ages 12-18 throughout the year, including Race around Subi and Upskill Australia youth development workshops.

Mr Dracup said being a part of SVY was more than just volunteering.

“As well as the warm and fuzzy feeling you get giving back to the community, SVY also offers young people development opportunities through projects that equip them with skills for everyday life,” he said.
