A new head at theTable
MARTIN Swindells is the new head chef at The Peasant’s Table in Mount Hawthorn.
He steps into the role with 20 years industry experience after working at some of Perth’s most popular restaurants and cafés including Vans Cottesloe, Subiaco Hotel and La Cholita in Northbridge.
Swindells said he planned to make some changes, steering away from the set menu style of entrée and main and introducing more share style dishes.
The new menu will feature a different share dish from Wednesday through to Sunday night, including a hearty pork hock braise, a warm duck curry, whole baked baby pink snapper and a crispy roast chicken.
A new dish will be added every few weeks.
