Western Suburbs Weekly - - Western Opinion -

The Station Street Markets closed last weekend. Like we need another Coles and Target... I used to love browsing and relaxing at the markets... a fun place to be, it will be missed.

- BOB July 26 will be a VERY sad day, indeed! I have shopped at the markets nearly every weekend for well over 20 years and will miss it greatly. I am pleased that some of the stallholders have been able to find new homes to continue trading. - RUTH OXLEY There will be a smoking ban at the new Taskers apartment Excellent! A new development leading by good example. It won’t be the developer enforcing this but the strata company, comprising all owners. Much easier to start with a no smoking by-law than to try to add one in later and by being there from the start, smokers won’t buy in this complex! Complexes like this are a shared living environment (not a single home) so it is definitely a good move for health.
