Chance to be named Miss World
THREE western suburbs residents have made it through to the Miss World Australia WA finals at Crown Perth on Sunday, August 2.
Stephanie Goodlad (23), of Dalkeith, Amaani Alikhan (18, Claremont) and Rahdee Hegney (21, Dalkeith) will compete for a place in the national finals that will also take place in WA for the first time on Sunday, August 30.
Another first this year will be the replacement of the traditional swimwear segment, with contestants wearing fitness attire to showcase health and wellness.
Goodland, Alikhan and Hegney have enjoyed several fashion events in the lead-up to the WA finals including the pageant designer label Belluccio’s fashion show and high tea in aid of Variety WA.
