Club’s pink trib­ute to Ali­son

WEM­B­LEY Net­ball Club went pink last Satur­day to raise aware­ness and funds for the Breast Can­cer Net­work Aus­tralia (BCNA) in hon­our of a for­mer mem­ber.

About 120 play­ers and sup­port­ers re­mem­bered found­ing mem­ber and mother of two Ali­son Cox who played 140 games for the club, by wear­ing pink socks and rib­bons at train­ing and on game day last week. Cox lost her bat­tle with breast can­cer. West Coast Fever cap­tain and BCNA am­bas­sador Natalie Med­hurst vis­ited the play­ers at train­ing last week.
