Club’s pink tribute to Alison
WEMBLEY Netball Club went pink last Saturday to raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) in honour of a former member.
About 120 players and supporters remembered founding member and mother of two Alison Cox who played 140 games for the club, by wearing pink socks and ribbons at training and on game day last week. Cox lost her battle with breast cancer. West Coast Fever captain and BCNA ambassador Natalie Medhurst visited the players at training last week.
