Cott cancer walk

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Westernopinion -

ON June 20, more than 160 people gathered for a 3km walk along Cottesloe Beach to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care WA.

Registered walkers paid $20 each to participate and received a Tshirt and sausage sizzle at the Cottesloe Surf Club after the walk.

The walk was organised by Rieley Stewart, a Year 10 student at Presbyterian Ladies’ College for her Personal Project.

Rieley wanted to raise funds for the cause, as it has affected family members including her aunty, who has just undergone treatment for breast cancer.

The event raised $2139 for Breast Cancer Care in Cottesloe.

A few T-shirts will be for sale at the PLC Personal Project exhibition early next term.
