Shy types just need loving

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Street Watch -

LOVEABLE boy Django is part bull mastiff, part teddy bear.

The five-year-old gentle giant demands constant cuddles from Shenton Park Dogs Refuge Home volunteers and would make an ideal pet to a home with older children.

Although he can be shy at first with some people and other dogs, Django is beautifully natured, with lots of affection stored up to bestow on his new family.

It is a mystery to Cat Haven staff why pretty patterned pussycat Hayleigh has not been adopted yet.

The two-year-old arrived at the haven in April, but has often been too shy to show off her true personality.

Hayleigh is more than ready to settle down and live in the lap of luxury in a quiet, loving new home.

Mayor Heather Henderson and UWA student Tim Delany unveiled Subiaco’s first insect hotel on August 6.
