IMPERIAL Calisthenics College’s sub-junior team won all five events at the recent Betty Fitzpatrick Calisthenics Competition.

The girls aged 6-10 finished first overall while a second sub junior team from the Floreatbased club was second overall.

For the first year, Imperial entered an intermediate team of competitors aged 14-16 who came third in the clubs category.

Junior team one of girls aged 11-13 placed fourth in clubs and rods while the second team placed third in clubs, rods and freearm. President Melanie Johnstone said all the girls performed very well and really enjoyed themselves.

“I am proud of the high standard shown by each and every girl at the competition,” Johnstone said.

“The girls now have their sights firmly set on the Calisthenics State Championships in August.” For more information, email president@imperialcc. org.au, call 0410 354 075 or visit www.imperialcc.org.au.
