BUSI­NESS­WOMAN San­dra De­va­has­din has had plenty to celebrate this year but be­com­ing an Aus­tralia citizen this Thurs­day is one of her high­lights.

The Scotswoman has made the bold de­ci­sion to fur­ther em­brace the coun­try she has called home for more than 30 years.

“I can’t prom­ise any of you will un­der­stand my blath­erin’ any bet­ter, and I will still hon­our my Scot­tish roots, but it is time for me to em­brace my in­ner Waltz­ing Matilda and de­clare pub­licly that I am a proud Aussie,” De­va­has­din said.

The founder of De­va­has­din PR, which cel­e­brates 21 years this year, will celebrate with fam­ily and friends by watch­ing her na­tional TV de­but on the ABC’s Who’s Been Sleep­ing in My House.

An episode was filmed at her his­toric North­bridge home. bring some glam­our to the an­nual Perth Royal Wine Show at the Clare­mont Show­ground to­day.

So­ci­ety mem­bers, in­clud­ing Lara McVeigh, Diane Par­sons, Suz Fisher and Jodie Petterson, will be clink­ing glasses and help­ing the 16 judges find the award-win­ning wines among 2091 en­tries.
