No working on tan for Sean, just work
NOBU Melbourne chef Sean Tan had plenty of free time to explore Perth when he visited for the Crown Resorts Culinary Stars competition.
But all he wanted to do was a shift at Nobu Perth.
The chef de cuisine was joined by Crown Melbourne colleagues Tuan Tran from Koko and Frederico Perez Lopez from No 8 by John Lawson to showcase their dishes with Perth’s Daniel Lopes, Melissa Sullivan and Marco Parussini.
Sullivan, a first-year apprentice at Junction Grill, got a shout out from Meat and Livestock Australia’s Samuel Burke, who had tried six bite-sized serves of the apprentice’s winning dish by the time he got to the lectern.
