Young star Jooste to fly flag for WA

Western Suburbs Weekly - - Drive Way -

YEAR 12 student Nicholas Jooste has scored more than 450 points – including 25 tries – in his three years at Hale School.

The school’s rugby team captain has been named as the only WA player in the Australian Schools Rugby Barbarian Team to play Samoan and New Zealand schools in the upcoming national competition.

Jooste has been described as a prodigious place-kicker and a strong, quick and powerful attacker.

Jooste is also in the Perth Spirit squad for National Rugby Championships this month.

Western Force player Dane Haylett-Petty visited Hale School last month to speak to the students and congratulated Jooste on his Winter Sport Honours award from the school.
