Lo­cals take to Run­way

EIGHT tal­ented WA de­sign­ers will un­veil their latest col­lec­tion in WA De­signer Run­way 1 for Perth Fash­ion Fes­ti­val on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 16.

Ange Lange, Ca­tini De­signs, CDQ, In­ti­mates by Monique, Jo­may Cao Cloth­ing, Karolina Cou­ture, Sab Five Five and Tokay Bou­tique will fea­ture in the Fash­ion Para­mount event at Perth Con­cert Hall start­ing at 9.30pm.

Ange Lang prom­ises a so­phis­ti­cated, mono, tai­lored col­lec­tion of evening jump­suits and gowns of silk and lace, while Ca­tini De­signs launches fifth col­lec­tion Mystic, where each de­sign uses draped fab­rics of crepe, cre­at­ing an ef­fort­less flu­id­ity in a con­trast­ing pal­ette of pas­tels and ra­di­ant colour.

Jo­may’s 2016 evening and event wear col­lec­tion is sim­ply ti­tled Clas­sics and Sab Five Five was inspired by re­cent In­dian trav­els to use printed nat­u­ral linens and cot­tons.

Karolina Cou­ture’s Her Name Was Scar­let range has been named af­ter clas­sic novel, The Scar­let Let­ter, while Tokay Bou­tique cel­e­brates the colour spec­trum, from bold block hues to dreamy ro­man­tic prints.
