SCAR­BOR­OUGH Net­ball Club had a 19-goal turn­around to win the Perth Net­ball As­so­ci­a­tion se­nior di­vi­sion one premier­ship against City Beach last Satur­day.

Reign­ing pre­miers City Beach and Scar­bor­ough fought it out in the grand fi­nal for the fourth con­sec­u­tive year, with the for­mer win­ning two of the past three pre­mier­ships.

City Beach took a four­point first quar­ter lead to nine at half-time but Scar­bor­ough made a come­back in the third quar­ter with a two-point lead go­ing into the fi­nal quar­ter.

Scar­bor­ough’s 10-point win was one of seven pre­mier­ships the Dou­ble­view Pri­mary School-based club won on the day.

Scar­bor­ough cen­tre court player Cathy English won the se­nior di­vi­sion one Robyn Somers MVP tro­phy and the team also scored the most num­ber of goals in the As­so­ci­a­tion this year.

In the ju­nior di­vi­sion one com­pe­ti­tion, Clas­sics beat Methodist Ladies’ Col­lege 49-39, re­vers­ing last year’s grand fi­nal out­come.

Cait­lyn Brown from Clas­sics was the ju­nior di­vi­sion one MVP.

Clas­sics also won the Year 7-8 di­vi­sion one grand fi­nal against City Beach, with the fi­nal score 41-38.

City Beach’s Char­lotte Bad­de­ley was named MVP.
