KAROLINA Couture Lingerie made its debut at this year’s Perth Fashion Festival in the WA Designer Runway 1.

It was a fitting year for the luxury WA lingerie label to showcase, with The Daily Knicker blogger and international model Tiah Eckhardt the face of the festival and burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese modelling for Wheels and Dollbaby.

Karolina Stysiak has established herself as one of the most bespoke designers in Perth with her handmade creations inspired by the classical styles of Paris and Tuscany.

The result is a uniquely WA design with a French sensibility.

WA Designer Runway 1 was a culmination of high end evening wear labels and glam lingerie, where Karolina Couture Lingerie showcased the new collection Her Name Was Scarlet, inspired by the classic novel The Scarlet Letter.

Stysiak said the collection evoked the notion of women casting aside labels and judgement based on dated societal views.
