CLAREMONT-NEDLANDS Cricket Club player Bradley Hope has been named in the Cricket Australia XI squad that will play in the Under-19 National Championships in Adelaide next month.

Hope joins fellow West Australian Matthew Spoors in the 14man squad that was chosen at the recent under-17 National Championships.

The squad will head to Adelaide on November 24 before their first match on November 30. Former Australian fast bowler Ryan Harris will coach the side, while Queenslander Nathan McSweeney is captain.

“The opportunity I have to coach a side so young and get to know some up-and-coming cricketers and to see them perform will be exciting for me. My role is to teach them a bit more about the game. I am hoping they ask plenty of questions because I will be asking questions of them,” Harris said.
