End for Myott at Hyatt, Smith in
HYATT general manager Adam Myott made an emotional farewell to his workplace of six years last week.
The popular leader gave an emotional farewell to his colleagues and clients the night before flying to South Korea, where he will embark on a new adventure as the general manager of the Grand Hyatt Incheon.
Myott said Perth had been the longest Hyatt posting he’d done.
“I thought we were here for two years,” he said.
New general manager Sholto Smith was at the Changing of the Guard event to take the reins.
Smith started his career with Hyatt in Perth in 1991.
“I hoovered most of the carpets in here,” he said.
Smith joins the team from Park Hyatt Siem Reap in Cambodia.
